FAQ

What is Kitchen Kriminal?
Kitchen Kriminal is a dinner party which started as a way to bring people together for a fun and adventurous meal. Originally a 6 course, chefs choice meal. The dinner menu was a secret until guests arrived at the location. Allergies and dietary restrictions are always accommodated.

Who is the Kitchen Kriminal?
Chef Stefen Janke is our main Kriminal. He is aided and abetted by his wife, Julie Van Dam. Together they own a catering company, Gourmet Solutionz Catering.

Why is it called Kitchen Kriminal?
Mostly it was our attempt at being clever. We started having dinner parties as an underground restaurant - very edgy.

Can anyone come?
You must be invited or come with someone who is invited. If someone under 18 comes, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Back by popular demand!

~~Saturday, June 6th, 2009~~
Julie and I have found a new kitchen in Woodland for our ever growing catering company. The new kitchen has a dining room that we have turned into a stage for Kitchen Kriminal dinner parties. Kitchen Kriminal is going to continue cooking fun and innovative food sourced locally. With our new space we are going to make a few changes to have how dinner is served and priced. The new format is going to flow in the following format for the most part.

~Stage one: Creative and very unique Canapés served during cocktail hour
~Stage two: Plated first course
~Stage three: Family style entrée served on platters
~Stage four: Cheese course
~Stage Five: Plated or a family style desert.
